Attention of all the Additional Directors, Joint Directors, Programme Officers  and District Medical & Health Officers, vide reference 2nd cited wherein, guidelines  were issued to conduct  14 Diagnostics Tests in SC Health & Wellness Centers.

1 Hemoglobin (Digital Hemoglobin meter)  

2 Human Chlorionic gonadotropin (HCG)(Urine Test for Pregnancy)  

3 Urine test for Ph, specific gravity, Leukocyte esterase glucose, bilirubin, urobilinogen, ketone, hemoglobin, protein, nitrite.  

4 Blood Sugar  

5 Malaria Test  

6 HIV (Antibodies to HIV 1 & 2)  

7 Dengue  

8 Visual Inspection -Acetic Acid  

9 Test for Iodine in salt (used for food)  

10 Water testing for fecal contamination and chlorination and Chlorination  11 HBs Ag test for Hepatitis B  

12 Filariasis (endemic areas only)-FST  

13 Rapid Test kit for S_yi:,_hilis (TPHA Kits)  

14 Sputum for AFB

Hence all the divisions under NHM, District Medical & Health Officers shall  ensure that all 14 diagnostic kits are available at SC-HWCs by 26.03.2021.  It is also instructed that, all the divisions and District Officers shall review the  availability on weekly basis and ensure the replenishment of diagnostics from time to  time.
